And it was raining again
Incandescent droplets kept falling
On the curls of your hair
Giving a way to the torrent
Of your beauty
That kept dripping from the ends of
Your straightened hair
Everywhere…
And wherever they fell
It was spring

The droplets
Touching your brows
Slipping off your lashes
Kissing your cheeks
Hanging on to your lower lip
And unwantedly leaving it
To touch the ground
And wherever they fell
It was spring

In that drizzle
You walked off the tea stall
With a cup in your hand
With those droplets
Falling in the cup
Those sinless, guileless, undefiled droplets
And you kept sipping it
May be that is the base
Of your entire existence
Being so gentle, calm and serene

And it was raining again
I saw you again
In the balcony
Trying to catch those droplets
Falling from the roof
In your hand
Each droplet you touched
Became vibrant with life
